An 8-week preparation plan
- Week 1: Foundation — Revise core subjects; Engineering Math basics. Milestone: One-page concept sheet per subject.
- Week 2: Foundation — Finish the Basic level; start aptitude. Milestone: All Basic questions answered without notes.
- Week 3: Core Depth — The why and how behind concepts. Milestone: Explain 10 concepts out loud; record yourself.
- Week 4: Core Depth — Numericals and GATE-style problems. Milestone: 50+ problems solved.
- Week 5: Advanced — Design, trade-offs, real-world applications. Milestone: Design 2 small systems or processes on paper.
- Week 6: Advanced + Projects — Detailed project walkthrough; industry standards and tools. Milestone: Two-minute and ten-minute project pitch.
- Week 7: Tricky + HR — Tricky questions, puzzles, STAR stories. Milestone: 6 polished STAR stories.
- Week 8: Mock & Polish — 3+ mock interviews; revise wrong answers. Milestone: Mock feedback log; final revision sheet.
