What this Raku Programming course covers, how to use it, prerequisites.

A structured, hands-on course on Raku (formerly Perl 6). It runs from your first say to Raku's rich type system and gradual typing, containers and binding, multi-dispatch, lazy sequences, junctions, meta-operators, object orientation with classes, roles and the meta-object protocol, grammars (Raku's crown jewel), Unicode-first strings, concurrency with Promises, Supplies and Channels, phasers, exceptions and Failures, modules and zef, testing, documentation with Pod6, NativeCall and Inline languages, web development with Cro, and production practices.

Targets the Raku language version 6.d on the Rakudo compiler (monthly releases, e.g. 2024.xx/2025.xx), with notes on 6.e (use v6.e.PREVIEW) and RakuAST. Check your version with raku --version.
